How do I subscribe to Hatch+, and how do I manage or cancel it?
Hatch+ is billed through Paddle, our payment provider. Open Settings → Hatch+ in the app to subscribe. To change or cancel a plan, use the manage-subscription link in that same screen or in your Paddle receipt email. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Hatch+ until the end of the period you’ve paid for. The entire core tracker stays free whether or not you subscribe.
What’s the difference between free and Hatch+?
Everything you need to track and rank your training is free forever: unlimited workout and meal logging, your Strength Score and ranks, the creature, streaks, recovery score and offline sync. Hatch+ only adds the heavier AI: unlimited coach conversations, deep weekly reviews and plans, and unlimited photo meal analysis. The free tier includes a metered allowance of AI so you can try it.
How do I log a workout or a meal?
Tap the + button on the Today screen. For workouts, pick a program day or log freestyle sets; reps and weights are editable any time, including after you finish. For meals, search foods, scan a barcode, or snap a photo and let Hatch read the macros. You can also just tell the coach in plain language, e.g. “bench 5x5 at 80kg”, and it logs it for you.
How does HealthKit sync work?
With your permission, Hatch reads steps and workouts from Apple Health and can write completed workouts back. You choose which data types to share when you first connect, and you can change or revoke this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Hatch. Health data is used only to power your in-app experience, never for advertising.
How do I export or delete my data?
Open Settings → Account. “Export my data” produces a full JSON copy of everything in your account. “Delete my account” permanently removes your account and associated data. Both are self-service and available to everyone, free or Hatch+.
Does Hatch work offline?
Yes. Every workout, meal and sensor reading is saved on your device first and synced when you’re back online, so a gym with no signal is no problem. Nothing is lost if you log mid-session and reconnect later.
